[SOLVED] Fatal error in gc — Too many heap sections

Good. Game doesn’t work!

To resolve this problem you have to do this:

— Click on Start — and in search type regedit and press enter.
— Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems\
— Make backup of your key! Click on File menu and choose Export. Give it a name and choose the destination. Click Save and there it is — a backup of your SubSystems reg key. Just in case you want the original key back.
— Doubleclick on Windows key in the right pane.
-In Value data field scroll left or right using arrow keys until you find this:
SharedSection=1024,3072,512. Change 3072 into 4096 so it reads: SharedSection=1024,4096,512

— Right-click Command Prompt in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
— At the command prompt, enter «bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 4096»

— Restart the computer.
— Start the game and wait (you have to wait several minutes)!

This works for me!

PS: I’ve Vista 32-bit and 3gb of ram and i set 4096, if you have more ram you can set a bigger number

— Your antivirus could be a problem! Try to disable it when you play!

I want sya something. The original number that appears in my Shared Section was 1024,12228,512. First I change the 12228 for 4096, as you say, but don’t work, late, I cahnge it for 24300, and work! Thanks!

Too many heap sections.
Ну и постоянно зависат сайт, пока не перезапущу. Не подскажете, в чем проблема?
Apache 1.3.36 + parser 3.2.1 (Apashe_SwissKnife 3.5) + ODBC (MS Access).
RAM 1 Gb, Pentium IV 2.500 GHz, HDD 80Gb.
Раньше все было на другом серваке: Apache 1.3.33 + parser 3.1.1 (CGI). Правда память 2Gb и dual PIII.
Там еще крутится почтовик.
Неужели памяти не хватает?

        Сталкивался с «Too many heap sections», некоторые вот рекомендуют
        при подобных проблемах с libgc реестр подтюнить:
        
        MS советует так:
        
        В системах Windows 2000, Windows XP и Windows Server 2003
        Параметр SharedSection задает размер куч рабочего стола и системы с помощью указанного ниже формата.
        SharedSection=xxxx,yyyy,zzzz
        В 32-разрядных операционных системах значение yyyy необходимо изменить на 12288.
        Для значения zzzz установите число 1024.
        В 64-разрядных операционных системах значение yyyy необходимо изменить на 20480.
        Для значения zzzz установите число 1024.
        
        Но к Windows 7 это не факт что относится.
